Saw some crackers when on a long weekend in Totnes, love the place and love the market and love the doors!
The one above was on the main high street running from the water’s edge up to the castle, great street with loads of interest, I didn’t see this door open but you get the impression that it’s a fairly solid chunk of timber.
Again, quite a hefty door I’d say!
The one above acts as an excellent advert for an Architects office and it only protects an outside area so I was able to get a good look at it, it is about 6 inches (152mm) thick. Very impressive!
And this is the grand entrance from the hotel bedrooms area into the reception part of the Seven Stars hotel that we stayed in, the reception area is now enclosed but was obviously the old courtyard!
