During Amy’s birthday visit I did my usual tourists whistle stop tour of the Isle of Portland (‘cos I love it!) and one of the stops I do is always at the Tout Quarry where I showed them the carving/sculptures in the rock faces there, it”s just an amazing place with a spooky feel.
One of the best rock face carving on display is Anthony Gormley’s piece called “Still Falling” which is completely captivating.
We had a great trip around the island and then got home for a curry, pictured here is one of my own attempts, my Thursday night curry is becoming legendary!
Done with that we thought of what to do next time they visit, could be either Kayaking from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door or a spot of Mackerel Fishing.
