We are very lucky to be able to walk from our back gate across a park, then a field, then a country lane to a great pub with fabulous views.
The walk takes 30 minutes and the reward is excellent. We often see a few of our local wild deer in the field in front of the pub and if we stay until dusk we see owls too.
Eddie TD loves it, for 90% if the walk he’s off the lead and a very happy chap!
The Fat Badger serves good food at slightly high prices but you’re also paying for the view so suck it up!
