Tap fixed

Mary & I have been sat in the kitchen everyday for about a year listening to the kitchen mixer tap (cheapo from B&Q) drip drip drip, we’ve been clever enough to ask a few people to fix it, all have come along and said, can’t get washers for that and various other excuses. So it’s not been water tight for ages.

Then, just after he’d been to the Reading Festival, Liam decided that he’d never seen the TV in the kitchen at head height before and walked into it with some gusto, others have banged their heads on it before but no one had managed to smash the screen. Liam did!

This event brought on the call to the builder, Peech, telling him we’ve bought a new TV and he should come around and fit it. My DIY skills are definately not up to that! During his visit, clever Mary mentioned the tap to him and he told us to forget about fixing it, go out and buy one, a good one, and he’ll send his plumber around to fit it in place of the old one.

Bought a Grohhe which we have as our shower choice too and got his plumber in, Mick, sounds a bit of a jobber but he was great, did the job and a little extra in double quick time then only charged £50 for his laboutrs. More than happy, paid him and now the kitchen works again.
