Yes, today I learnt 2 things, well I actually learnt a lot more whilst at the Society of Will Writers Regional Meeting but that was work……these two things are serious general knowledge issues!
1 – “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” William Shakespear
WRONG – it’s commonly misquoted for a start, the actual writing was in a play originally called”The Mourning Bride” bby William Congreve and was written ” Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor Hell a fury like a woman scorned.”
2 – And this is both odd and fab….. It’s traditional in Finland to eat Pea Soup with Pancakes every Thursday! Really, not once a year like we have Pancake day but literally every Thursday they eat Pea Soup on Pancakes! Good luck to them, but this Thursday I’m just wondering if I could….
